Winning Eleven 10 to be released in Japan
This is a follow-up to Mark’s post. Just in time for the World Cup, Konami has announced the forthcoming release of Winning Eleven 10.
According to this piece, “in response to the strong requests by users, Konami has obtained the license for national teams such as Argentina, Italy, England, the Netherlands and Spain.”
Eurogamer says that the game will feature a simple mode “which automates things like formations and substitutions - which should be enormously useful for those without the time or patience to learn the subtleties of Winning Eleven’s hugely complex and versatile stat system. There’s also talk of simplifying passing, shooting and through balls.”
I oppose the simplification of through balls.
