Eric Cantona tells Cristiano to stay, sit, bark

(In)Famous United legend Eric Cantona has told Cristiano Ronaldo—presumably in impossible-to-understand English—that he should stay at Old Trafford, saying, “United is the perfect club to improve as a young player.”

Ronaldo has said he would like to play in Madrid and many United supporters, citing the stamping incident, believe he should go.

I’m sure Cantona holds sway with the supporters; I’m guessing he’s been trotted out to prepare fans for the fact that Ronaldo may remain in Manchester next year. In other words, if Cantona purports to like Ronaldo, the fans may go easier on him.
