I did see the challenge on Shay Given – I was at the match – I support Newcastle. The challenge was extremely reckless and could’ve been fatal. Marlon Harewood should’ve been sent off for dangerous play. If that tackle had ruptured Shay Given’s spleen, Shay would’ve died and Harewood would’ve been a murderer – or at least faced a manslaughter charge. Hey, maybe they should make a new offence – Sports manslaughter. What d ‘ you think?

Wow! A new look Through-ball. Nice!

I did see the Given collision. Wish I knew a way to take if from my DVR and put it on the net for you to link. Maybe you can find it on you tube. Nasty collision and it is one of those that I was just not sure if it was a bit intentional or not. The speed of the game is so fast these days it’s so hard to tell, sometimes even in slow-mo.

Lehman is a very good keeper and the difference in goal keeping is what I believe made the difference in the Man U v Arse. game. But he is just a spaz, After the shot in the face he had to created a big thing with O’Shea and O’Shea hadn’t even done anything wrong. He’s a goof ball but so are some of the finest keepers. Look at Kahn, how about Schmeichel? Maybe it’s just keepers with Germanic roots?
