The vendor providing the service, PlayOnSports.tv, who, until now has focused on college sports, especially the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), says their service is:

So how does one hook up their computer to their TV? There’s no way I’m gonna sit at my computer and watch soccer matches.

It depends how old your computer and your TV are, but you can use your TV as a computer monitor.
