Our first came 5 weeks early - before our child birthing class was even over! We brought the baby to our last class "We passed!" I can't tell you the panic when you have a new baby, none of the baby showers have happened yet, and you realize you have NOTHING. No diapers, no diaper pail, no stroller, no high chair, etc. etc. We took him straight from the hospital to Toy R Us which, at the time, had LOTS of baby stuff. We walked out with 2 carts stuffed with baby stuff and arrived at my wife's Camero, realizing only then that we had to get it all into one of the most infant unfriendly cars there is. People stopped to watch how we would fit it all in and not have to put anything on the roof.
