For all the bung issues being talked about in the English game, there really haven't been a lot of arrests, point deductions, relegations, etc. Nothing really seems to be happening (at least to the grand extent the press was making out) to anyone of real importance or standing.

To my knowledge, one doesn't see these issues in the USA, period. Even in the 'big money' sports.

Still, like Brian said, I can't see lumping in the EPL with the cheating cultures of La Liga and Serie A.

The issues in England concerning transfers is so common in Spain and Italy that it's not considered unusual or cheating there. To compare that to what happens every season in Serie A and La Liga is a joke. The EPL and Ligue 1 are the shining examples of leagues that are adamant about fair play.

As for the MLS, well, you don't see any of these issues in any of the lower leagues in any country because basically, it matters less.
