Fantasy football roundup: weak four

Another week, another clever pun.

The fourth week of the ThroughBall.com Fantasy Premier League is over and it really was nothing to write home about. So, instead, I’ll write my notes to the entire freaking internet:

  • Misley FC remains atop the table, though the vaunted “Sibierski Surge” failed this week. RedCard_10 is knocking at the door.
  • Wolfrum on the move! Cruzeiro EC moves up—way up—to 21st on his league-leading, 60-point performance.
  • The second-best named team, ABCDE FC, managed by Matthew Wroe, sits smack dab in the middle of the pack.

Oh, but how we enjoy the clever puns. “The road to new jersey” will be tough to top.

I must say, I’m pretty excited with my week. Cruzeiro the fantasy team, and Cruzeiro the real team are dominating (the Raposas are the No. 2 team in Brasileiro and the top-scoring team by far).

Also, I noted we, as a league, are now in the top-700. I feel more upward movement is ahead.

I think Josh has started something, however – if he mentions a player, their team kicks ass. I’m expecting another huge week to come. This is all very exciting, and I truly expect my interest to be held for at least another two weeks or so.
