I'd like to point out the ineptitude of the replays being shown on the ESPN broadcast.

How no one on the entire ESPN broadcast team seemed to be able to figure out WHY Dempsey was offsides, or get the people running the replays to show us a good look before half-time is beyond me.

A point made even more frustrating by the following:

Because my buddy in Texas (I live in MN) doesn't have cable he had to watch the game on Univision. I watched the ESPN telecast. We watched the game at the same time and were chatting with each other over the internet. After the goal was disallowed he said that Univision had 4 replays of the play. ESPN had one, and that one didn't even show Dempsey being actually offside. Throw in the fact that my Texas friend doesn't understand Spanish, and well...you can see why I was frustrated with ESPN.

As a Fulham follower and blogger, we've wondered for a while now what is up with Clinton D's hair. I don't think they ask him was razor number but what bowl size he uses. I don't have a clue what that's about.

He always comes off the pitch after Fulham games, the dirties player on the field. The Fulham fans love him even more for it.

He looked incredibly tired. If you watched the studio 90's "24 hours with clint dempsey", where they follow him for 24 hours from landing in Texas through promotional pieces and interviews, the poor boy looked exhausted. He's logged a lot of minutes this year and just arrived Monday afternoon/evening after a Sunday game. He had one practice to get things worked out with his teammates and was working on jet leg.

I would imagine some of the same was true for M. Bradley.

I think that the statement "Less of Moor" sums up the entire night. With the exception on Landycakes, the wingers were all worthless. Since the US attack is predicated on balls in from the wings, it is going to be difficult to win games when we can't utilize the wingers better.
